YAM YEST DESIGN - "Rurki" Lamp

Tubes, tubes, and more tubes... – When designing this piece, I had classic lantern forms in mind. I wanted it to feel airy, like a little birdcage. Luckily, no birds are harmed here—just a lightbulb shining through the tubes, casting a beautiful, starry shadow all around!

The tubes themselves are hollow, allowing light to pass through. Depending on the filament color, the printed straws gently glow, adding a subtle hue to the emitted aura. Connected to power via a fabric-covered cord with switch. Set includes an E14 LED bulb.

Hi! My name is Adam Szczęsny. I’m the founder of the brand Yam Yest Design.

I create lamps using 3D printing. I work with the most popular type of filament – PLA, which is made from corn starch. This material is environmentally friendly while also being durable and flexible – it’s perfect for my creations!

I really enjoy playing with colors and experimenting with how light interacts with them. This playfulness and the joy of discovery are my main motivations. I like surprising myself. I also love diving into structural details and looking for new solutions. I'm both an engineer and an artist – that’s what they say about architects, right? I'm also a big kid at heart, and I give myself permission to create cartoonish forms that are meant to bring joy, surprise, and above all, create an amazing atmosphere in any interior!
