YAM YEST DESIGN - Virus Lamp

Virus – another lamp that, despite its purely mathematical form, has the qualities of a whimsical character. The smooth lampshade is designed to fit perfectly into the tubular “cage.” The cage, in contrast, has a rough texture, giving a subtle yet pleasant contrast of surfaces. The lamp casts a neutral light, illuminating the base and creating a beautiful, radiant pattern of shadows around it.

Powered via a cord with a switch, covered in textile braid. The set includes an E14 LED bulb.

Hi! My name is Adam Szczęsny. I’m the founder of the brand Yam Yest Design.

I create lamps using 3D printing. I work with the most popular type of filament – PLA, which is made from corn starch. This material is environmentally friendly while also being durable and flexible – it’s perfect for my creations!

I really enjoy playing with colors and experimenting with how light interacts with them. This playfulness and the joy of discovery are my main motivations. I like surprising myself. I also love diving into structural details and looking for new solutions. I'm both an engineer and an artist – that’s what they say about architects, right? I'm also a big kid at heart, and I give myself permission to create cartoonish forms that are meant to bring joy, surprise, and above all, create an amazing atmosphere in any interior!
