Curatorial tour in Polish of the exhibition "Piniak Przemysław hit where it hurts"

The exhibition curator, Gabi Skrzypczak, guides visitors through the exhibition of the prematurely deceased intermedia artist Przemysław Piniak. The creators of the exhibition follow the mythology and distinctive aesthetic of excess developed by the artist. The sketches, objects, paintings on canvas, and works on furniture fronts presented in the exhibition are not intended to form a closed retrospective. The exhibition takes its title from the phrase “it went to the heels,” frequently used by the artist, which reflects both Piniak’s way of functioning within the art world and the sense of shame and anticipation of inevitable negative judgment embedded in his work.
