During a guided tour of the museum's modern space, you will learn about Thomas Phifer's architectural visions, discover unobvious corners and learn interesting facts about the history of the centre of the capital, while panoramic views of Warsaw will provide an additional experience.

The exhibition presents nearly 200 works by women – both recent works and paintings by Renaissance, Baroque and 19th-century artists. This nine-part visual narrative bears witness to the enduring and dynamic creative activity of women over the last 500 years. It shows that, although often underappreciated and operating in defiance of strict social prohibitions, women have consistently pursued their creative mission. They have used their artistic activities with determination to confirm and consolidate their presence and the importance of their individual experiences. The aim of the exhibition, in addition to presenting the diverse work of women, is to show the power inherent in a new approach to art history – one that demands justice, gives a voice to the invisible and leads to a revision of the so-called canon. During the tour, the guide will lead the group through the individual sections of the exhibition, devoted to, among other things, historical and mythological representations of women, self-portraits, art education, motherhood and war experiences.
